Naomi Otano, MSW

Program Director

Naomi Otano is a competent professional who has worked in the social service field providing an abundance of dedication, care, support and advocacy. Naomi is passionate about mental health, embracing vulnerable populations most in need of compassionate care, notably: adolescents, children and families; those with a history of incarceration and/or substance use; and those in palliative care. 

Naomi discovered a passion for social justice at a young age, becoming socially aware of the racial economic and environmental issues surrounding us.  Naomi began engaging in services in junior  high, which created the foundation of her social work career for over 20 years. 


Naomi is a proud alumnus of Fordham University where she earned her Masters degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration and a specialization in law.  As a native of Connecticut, Naomi conducted her undergraduate work at Post University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Service with a minor in Criminal Justice and received her Associates in Criminal Justice from Briarwood College.


Naomi is committed to the mission of promoting mental wellness and enhancing the wellbeing of disadvantaged populations and is grateful to be serving as a Board Member for My Walk of Life.
